Episode 5-Ramble On!

Finally, it's here, Episode Five! It's been a re-learning process for me, so I apologize for the tardiness of this episode.
Joining me for this show is Jesse Anderson and John Merholtz. We manage to hit a few good points about Kotei season, so I hope you all enjoy the show!

  1. I enjoyed your show! One comment I would have is that the mics seemed to crack a lot, especially in the early portion of the show, though I noticed it a lot less in the later half of the show. If it is at all possible to improve the sound quality it would be most appreciated. Also, whoever was strumming their fingers or fiddling with whatever on the table, that sound came through quite clearly and was somewhat distracting.

The content of the show was great, just some small things I thought I would mention to you. I am looking forward to the next episode!

  2. Thanks a lot for the feedback! I think the strumming is Merholtz rocking back and forth in the chair. I didn't hear it in the phones, so I apologize. As for the sound quality I just had to adjust the inputs for the mics since I had it turned up to far thinking that they would need to be that high with three people and only two mics. Hope that explains it a bit, and I will make sure to work on the quality! Thanks again!

  3. I laughed when you guys talked about a cheaters list, as there is one out on the net already. L5rcheaters.blogspot.com has a cheaters list and some articles about cheating. Might be something for you to check out.

Also, in regard to tournament prep and making the cut at a Kotei, sometimes you just have to not play for 3 1/2 months then play a deck you haven't seen until the night before like I did before Nebraska.

    Thanks,
    Howard

  4. Thanks Howard! I will have to try that whole not playing thing, but I am sure it will end poorly for me. I can't even win with weeks of testing! Thanks for the comment and the link!
